FOUR THINGS to do in Efate, Vanuatu

We’re currently moored in Yachting World Marina, giving Tāiko a well-earned rest after sailing the 133 NM from Tanna Island to Port Vilia on Efate Island, Vanuatu. Port Vila will be our last port of call in Vanuatu, and so we’ve taken this opportunity to see Efate by land and drive the 125 km around Efate. Today we will be visiting the Pepeyo Cultural village, the Blue Lagoon, the Siviri Caves, and a local coffee factory that produces coffee from beans sourced from Tanna Island. So, come with us as we learn more about the Vanuatuan culture and see some of Efate’s highlights.

After spending 3 years sailing within New Zealand & preparing for offshore sailing, we sailed our 40 ft sailboat Te Tāiko from New Zealand to Fiji & enjoyed the beauty and tranquility Fiji has to offer.
