Trying the BEST Char Kway Teow in Singapore | Lau Pa Sat 🇸🇬

Описание к видео Trying the BEST Char Kway Teow in Singapore | Lau Pa Sat 🇸🇬

After 3 months exploring South East Asia, I returned to Singapore for one final adventure before my flight back to the UK.

Sitting in exactly the same seat where I had my first taste of Hainanese chicken rice at Tian Tian in Maxwell Food Center, and staying in the same room at the Bohemian hostel over the road in Chinatown, I felt full of nostalgia - but also an appetite to uncover more hidden gems in Singapore's hawker street food scene.

I heard that I should check out Lau Pa Sat for what was regarded as not only the best char kway teow in Singapore, but possibly Asia. And having held out from trying this famous dish until now, I wanted to try the best recipe.

Upon asking some friendly locals which stall I should try, they kindly pointed me in the direction of the Old Airport Road Lau Fu Zi stall which had several Michelin guide awards proudly displayed above the counter.

Needless to say, the food was incredible, and it set me on my way for a great day enjoying more of what Singapore has to offer, in braised duck rice, a few beers, and Fort Canning Park.

P.S. Given my former professional background as a fund manager, personal finance is something that I strongly believe in.

I'll be working on something much bigger in the coming months to help educate people around how investments work, and my personal story before I embarked on my adventures.

In the meantime, you can see which stocks I'm invested in, and how well I'm doing, via the link below:
