The English Department at Germantown Friends School (Philadelphia PA) welcomed Joshua Bennett to an Upper School Assembly on March 22 as part of its Writers Series -- and to kick off National Poetry Month in April (a little early). Bennett, a senior at Penn, is an acclaimed spoken word poet who performed the piece in this clip -- "Tamara's Opus" -- at the White House in 2009.
