SOLIDWORKS Toolbox - Create Parts Method

In this video, our Applications Engineer Alejandro shows how to set up your toolbox in ‪@solidworks‬ with custom property information using the Create Parts method. Toolbox is an excellent tool for quickly creating thousands of pieces of hardware.

Your toolbox folder is actually installed by default on your C drive, it should be called SOLIDWORKS Data. Alejandro recommends making a copy of this folder, and adding the year.

Make sure you're pointing to the right toolbox. Let's get started!

You will have all the configurations with specific properties by having used Create Parts method. Separate files are created, instead of a master file having several configurations within.
