1999 Panzer Elite PC tank simulator with TorchPack DX9 mod, new 3D tank models and textures for Tunisia 1942-43, plus finer heightline maps. Gameplay with commentary of PE game history, mod development and running on modern PC's.

With modern PC you must have DirectX 9.0c installed (like many old games).
Don't install PE (or other old games) to C:\ProgramsXXX or C:\WindowsXXX folders as Windows10/11 protects these folders from old game file writes.
Because Panzer Elite runs fast on modern PC you can use frame rate limiters (like Bandicam) to limit to 15 fps (my choice).
Too many mods in PE\mods folder makes the mod_enabler.exe really slow. Also always disable mods from bottom to top.
