Winter Camping in the Arkto Campers G12

Decided to take our newest trailer out for an evening. It happens to be February in Alberta, Canada, and so naturally, it tends to be a bit on the cooler side in the evenings. Day time high was hovering around freezing, but the evening it dropped to -15 Celsius or 4 Fahrenheit.

Our trailers come standard with composite wall construction and well insulated access panel doors. The walls and roof have an R7 insulation value, and the floor R9.

This particular trailer has the upgraded insulated popup roof canvas (R4 insulation value), and the insulated and heated fresh water tank. The water system stayed functional through the evening, and the interior remained toasty warm with the use of the Truma Combi furnace.
