I've always loved 'Choose Your Own Adventure' Books - I think they're like a video game in book form! I picked up a book called "Shadow Chaser" where we uncover a shadowy mystery by choosing our own reactions to each situation we find ourselves in. This book includes an RPG-style stat system as well as a combat system! It was tonnes of fun and I can't wait to get back into it, hope you enjoy :)
