In this video, I experimented with a marble acrylic pour for the very first time — and I love how it turned out! I started by pouring 8 puddles over a deep black base, layering in dreamy blues, turquoise, and a mix of acrylic paint metallics, including a gorgeous champagne gold. Then came the fun part: I dropped a marble onto the canvas and tilted it, letting it swirl through the paint to create organic, flowing patterns.
Not everything went to plan though — the paint didn’t dry as smoothly as I’d hoped. So I came back in with a paintbrush and added some embellishments to bring the piece back to life!

Acrylic paints (Phthalo Blue, Turquoise Blue, Iridescent White, Sky Blue, Champagne Gold (Light Gold, silver and Champagne gold mixed together)
Pouring medium (liquitex pouring medium and Australian Floetrol 50:50)
Black base coat (Amsterdam Paynes Grey)
Marble
16" x 20" canvas
Chefs torch
