He says difficult times may lie ahead, but discipline will pull people through for the benefit of the community. He says those who are left are thankful they have been preserved. Interior M/S as an army signaller works a Morse code key (natural sound) in an army truck. M/S interior tent on Luneberg Heath. Montgomery invites the high ranking German officers including General-Admiral von Friedeberg and General Kienzl to sit down. Some good shots as Montgomery dictates surrender terms to Germans and signs them.
