The Raid on the McCoy Cabin

Описание к видео The Raid on the McCoy Cabin

Today we’re talking about one of the most famous events that took place during the feud between the Hatfields and McCoys. The New Year’s Day Hatfield raid on Randall McCoy’s cabin was an aggressive attempt by the Hatfields to end the feud. Instead, Randall McCoy lost his home, two of his adult children, and his wife lay unconscious and battered on the frozen ground while the perpetrators would face the possibility of prison or the hangman's noose.
