Ford Constant Voltage Unit Classic Update Gauge Connections

Users installing American Autowire Classic Update kits for the 1964-68 Mustang, 60-65 Falcon, 62-67 Fairlane and Comet, 60-64 Galaxie or 1957-72 Ford Truck will see mention of a constant voltage unit in the gauge portion of their kit instructions. This is a critical part of the gauge cluster wiring, and must be retained in order for factory gauges to work properly. Aftermarket gauges generally do not require use of this component, but be sure to verify with the gauge manufacturer prior to installation.
