Apart from these, Bhojpatra is also found in large numbers here, on which our great men had written their scriptures. These are also sold in Badrinath. People here also do animal husbandry to plough the fields. Earlier sheep and goats were reared in large numbers, but their number has reduced considerably due to the difficulty in taking them to lower areas in winters.
