Simona Cochi is glad to release a special walkthrough of one of the most awaited art shows in Italy. Experience the elegance and dramatic luminosity of the Baroque period in this exclusive silent walkthrough of the exhibition "Orazio Gentileschi. Un pittore in viaggio.". This is the first monographic exhibition in Italy dedicated to Orazio Gentileschi (Pisa, 1563 – London, 1639), tracing his stylistic development and celebrated career across Europe.
The exhibition is hosted at the Sale Chiablese of the Musei Reali di Torino from November 22, 2025, to May 3, 2026. Displaying over 40 masterpieces, the collection highlights the artist's ability to evolve his style, moving from the Mannerist tradition to Caravaggesque naturalism, and eventually settling on a refined, brightly colored technique. Gentileschi achieved fame during his lifetime comparable to that of contemporaries Caravaggio, Rubens, and Van Dyck.
Key Highlights in the Exhibition:
• The Annunciation (1623, Galleria Sabauda, Turin), considered one of the absolute peaks of his art and a centerpiece of the entire exhibition.
• The Finding of Moses (Mosè salvato dalle acque, 1633, Museo Nacional del Prado, Madrid), an apex of his late maturity, showcased for the first time in Italy.
• Works reflecting his court period, including his allegorical painting for Maria de' Medici in Paris, The Public Happiness Triumphing over Dangers (Louvre).
