How to remove a cranberry stain:

1.) Check the care label to determine if your garment is washable. If your garment is dry clean only, do not attempt at home remedies or proceed with caution.
2.) Remove any excess cranberry bits with a fresh white towel.
3.) If the cranberry stain is on a washable garment, dab (do not rub) the cranberry with a clean white towel to absorb as much of the stain as possible.
4.) Apply high proof grain alcohol or vodka to the cranberry stain, allow to sit for 15 minutes.
5.) Wash as normal.
6.) If the cranberry stain did not come out, mix up a solution of one cup of lukewarm water, 1/2 teaspoon of dish detergent (not laundry detergent, we like Dawn) and 1 tablespoon of white vinegar. Apply this solution to the stain site and allow to sit for 15 minutes.
7.) Wash as normal
8.) If the cranberry stain did not come out, do not dry!
9.) Try the procedure above again and if this doesn’t work, apply 3% hydrogen peroxide (available from the first aid aisle of your local pharmacy) to the cranberry stain. Allow to sit for 30 minutes and then wash. This should remove the last traces of the cranberry stain.
10.) Only dry once the cranberry stain has been fully removed.
11.) Your cranberry stain has been removed!
