Chobhar Dry Port is under construction in Kirtipur Kathmandu Nepal. We are up with the latest update from the construction site.

1054 ropani land which used to be of Himal Cement Factory now is being used for Chobhar Dry Port and Exhibition Center. In 1974 the German government had gifted cement factory, which was closed due to mismanagement and environmental concerns in 2002, then the government decided to open dry port and international standard exhibition centre in this land. Out of 1054 ropani land, 228 ropani is allocated for dry port and 826 for the international standard exhibition centre, in 2018 agreement for construction of the port is signed with Aashish JV and Lumbini Koshi & Neupane JVPM KP Sharma Oli laid the foundation stone in Jan 2019.
