President Barack Obama lands his $237 million helicopter Marine One on a baseball field in Brentwood, Los Angeles. He had arrived into LAX before getting on the helicopter and traveling to Brentwood before taking a motorcade to the “House of Blues” on Sunset Blvd in Hollywood.

The President was given the full military protection with hundreds of secret service staff patrolling and guarding the area. When he exited the helicopter the then was driven in his bullet proof with dozens of protection officers on motorbikes and even some agents in the back of an SUV.

When he left, he then had protection in the air with three US Military V-22 Osprey worth $68 million each flying next to him in Marine One. The Bell Boeing V-22 Osprey is an American multi-mission, military, tiltrotor aircraft with both a vertical takeoff and landing, and short takeoff and landing capability worth around $68 million and carries 24 passengers. The five aircrafts looked stunning in the blue skies of Los Angeles.

The Sikorsky VH-92A Patriot, the current Marine One helicopter, costs around $237 million each. This is a significant investment, and the program as a whole, involving 23 helicopters, has a total projected cost of over $4.7 billion
