A Bucket List Ride to the Loneliest Road In Maryland

They call this ride to Hooper's Island "Maryland's Loneliest Road", and for good reason. Hoopers Island Road spans nearly 9 scenic miles, with many stretches of the road having nothing but water and nature as far as the eyes can see. This "lonely road" once brought you to all three sections of Hooper's Island, however the lowest island is no longer accessible anymore as it's been slowly lost to the tides. In fact, every year the islands lose over 24 acres to erosion, storms, and flood damage! And as you can see in the video...the damage and land loss is pretty evident.

This ride has been a "bucket list ride" of mine for years now, ever since I saw this article (https://www.onlyinyourstate.com/maryl...) calling it Maryland's Loneliest Road. And I have to say, it DID NOT disappoint! Such a beautiful ride full of history and nature. It's definitely one of my absolute favorite motorcycle rides I've done here in Maryland!

So...where should we ride the Rebel 1100 next?!
