The SU-34 Fullback is a dedicated fighter-bomber and tactical air-to-surface strike aircraft developed by the Sukhoi Design Bureau for the Russian Air Force. Entering service in 2014, the SU-34 is an advanced derivative of the venerable SU-27 Flanker air superiority fighter, designed to provide the Russian military with a highly capable and versatile multi-role platform.

The FAB-500 is a Soviet-designed 500-kilogram general-purpose air-dropped bomb with a high-explosive warhead. Originally introduced in 1954, it has seen various versions over the years. The M-62 variant, introduced in 1962, was designed for fighter-bomber external hardpoint carriage. Early models were unguided, but the latest variants now use the UMPK (a winged system developed after the 2022 Ukraine war) for precision satellite guidance and increased stand-off distance. These bombs have been widely employed in conflicts such as the Syrian Civil War and the 2022 Russian invasion of Ukraine.
