About Canning on the Go Van:

The custom-fit van is equipped to create pop-up spaces for activities, programs and events. The City is partnering with groups to use the van to deliver innovative learning programs and activities in locations all over Canning.

The brand new Canning on the Go Van contains equipment to enable the delivery of programs and activities out-doors. This includes:

💡 Presentation screen
☂️ Gazebo
🪑 Tables and chairs
👌 Awning
📶 WiFi hotspot
⚡ Charging facilities

The van can also be used to transport equipment to indoor locations.

The City of Canning is partnering with community groups and organisations to take learning to where it's needed most using our Canning on the Go Van.

A welcoming and thriving City.

The City of Canning is located in Perth’s south-eastern suburbs, about 10km from the Perth CBD and covers a total of 65km2. The City is made up of 16 suburbs - Bentley, Cannington, East Cannington, Ferndale, Lynwood, Parkwood, Queens Park, Riverton, Rossmoyne, Shelley, Welshpool, Willetton, Wilson, and parts of St James, Canning Vale and Leeming.

We are fortunate to have the beautiful Canning River (Djarlgarro Beelier in Noongar) snaking its way through our borders and love seeing people out and about enjoying the river and its nearby trails, walking and cycle paths.

The City of Canning is home to two industrial hubs in Canning Vale and Welshpool. We will soon see the heart of Cannington revitalised with the $76m Canning City Centre rejuvenation program, which commenced in early 2019.
