'Sehet, wir gehn hinauf gen Jerusalem' BWV 159, performed by the Netherlands Bach Society for All of Bach, is evocative of Bach’s St Matthew and St John Passions. In a wonderful dialogue, Jesus tells that he is going to Jerusalem. The soul (an alto) tries to warn him: be careful, your cross is waiting for you there!
