A network of Computer called the nodes run a blockchain. They are constantly exchanging information on new transactions and blocks. Nodes make the infrastructure of the blockchain.


Blockchain dedicated node
A blockchain dedicated node, is also known as a full node. A full node is a node that maintains a copy of the blockchain.

A light node doesn't keep a copy of the blockchain.

Evoke Blockchain - MTHN Mainnet

There are two types of full nodes in the MTHN Network Chain.

Validator Nodes: Validator are a group / IT infrastructure that takes the responsibility to maintain the MTHN Chain/DEX data and validate the transactions.
They join the Consensus procedure and vote to produce blocks. The Fees are collected and distributed among all validators.
You can consider validators as "Miner" in Bitcoin and Ethereum and similar concepts exist in d Pos Blockchain as EOS or d BFT in Neo.
The Initial validators are selected from Trusted members of the MTHN Community and eventually expand to more members as the MTHN blockchain and Ecosystem mature, this responsibility will be distributed.
The Decentralized governance producer will be introduced and executed. More qualified Organisation/ Individual can become validators.
Witness Nodes: Witness Nodes represent the majority of nodes in a MTHN Chain Deployment. Although they don't join the Consensus process and produce blocks, they will take care of The Witness Consensus Process.
They serve as Data replicas and help to propagate the chain State around the Network.
They receive transactions and Broadcast them to all other nodes including Validators nodes.
