The family of Tyre Nichols and their attorney, Ben Crump, held a news conference Friday to discuss the charges against the five former police officers involved in Nichols' death in Memphis, Tennessee. This comes hours before the expected release of bodycam footage showing the Jan. 7 traffic stop. The family said an independent autopsy shows Nichols suffered "extensive bleeding caused by a severe beating."
