HCL Tech posted a mixed Q4 FY21 performance and shared an optimistic FY22 guidance. Revenue expected to grow in double digits in constant currency for FY’22 and EBIT margin expected to be between 19.0% and 21.0% for FY’22.

In an exclusive interaction with ET NOW, C Vijayakumar, President & CEO, HCL Technologies Ltd and Prateek Aggarwal, CFO, HCL Technologies said:
*New Deal TCV hit an all-time high this quarter at US $ 3.1 B , up 49% yoy
*won 19 large deals many are transformational deals
*deal pipeline is at all time high
*deals are broad based and across verticals
*nature of deals: cloud, analytics, digital workplace etc
*cloud migration and cloud adoption also drove IT segment growth
*Engineering R&D dipped 5% yoy due to exposure to Aero, Auto and certain manufacturing clients
*will hire over 15000 entry level hires in India acorss geo including US and canada
*Expect strong growth in US and Europe. Seeing good spends in financial services vertical in US.
*Have plenty of margin levers
*growth it self would be a big margin lever along with improved utilisation and operating leverage.
