Cal-ED Conference is back finally.

We’re both excited to see, hug, share with you after two years.

We’re the co-chairs for the 2022 CAL-Ed conference.
I’m Krissy Altmayer, a teacher in San Francisco Unified School District, grade 9-12.

I’m Denise Sidansky, a teacher in Los Angeles Unified School District, grade 9-12.

Did you notice that I (Krissy) am from the North and I (Denise) am from the South? Maybe this will start a new tradition of having north and south working together.

CAL-ED Conference will be in Burbank at the Los Angeles/Burbank Marriott Hotel, right across the street from the Burbank Airport

If you fly there, it’s so easy to get to the hotel. So buy a ticket soon!

The conference will be on September 29-Oct 2, 2022. We have 5 months left to go so please save the date!!!

The theme for the conference is FULL STEAM AHEAD, moving forward! We will be focusing on Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Math centering Social Justice and Social Emotional Learning.

All conference forms, including conference registration, deaf ecosystem booth registration, sponsorship, hotel reservation and a Call for Presenters will go live on May 1st so keep a lookout for it and register ASAP!

We encourage you to inform your principals before the school year ends to cover the cost of your professional development for the fall.

We have an amazing list of presenters, workshops ready for you this year!
