'The Butcher'
The old factory sticks out like an island surrounded by modern architecture. The 5.7 acre abandoned factory once owned by Chosun Flour Mills (Now Daesun Flour Mills inc), was the backdrop to present Gentle Monster’s 2016 collection. The presentation was themed from the idea of the Butcher, with limited lighting offering an drawing the audience even deeper into the show. Models walked the runway as a live performance added an artistic layer, balancing fashion and art which reflects Gentle Monster's devotion and passion towards disruptive creativity.

2016 Sunglasses Collection
The 2016 collection is unique by using metal and flat lenses in its design. The deep tinted lenses highlight the eyes beneath, as a marble motif-ed exclusive edition added a futuristic expression of marbled texture to the show.
