The Sherman brothers, Noel and Joe wrote this song. I know Nat "King" Cole recorded it but I like Johnny's version better and listen to the way Johnny sings this in a live performance. Isn't that orchestra something, what does one say about it? Johnny's interpretation here was delivered live on October 27, 2006 when he decided to celebrate his 50th anniversary in the music business. He gathered 2,000 of his closest friends at the Tropicana Hotel in Atlantic City, NJ and delighted them with a concert that was both nostalgic, new and filmed for public television (what a guy). The DVD, as shown on PBS TV, has him singing the classic standards, the unforgettable hits that have made him a legend in the music industry and some extras like "Pure Imagination" which I've uploaded to youtube. Get this DVD, if you like Johnny you'll see him at his best and doing what he does best, singing for an audience.
