Q: Why is it called a Full Clear when you left a [Creep Tumor, Overseer, Overlord, Observer, Stasis Ward, etc] alive?

A: The community rules for a Full Clear say that all pre-placed units and structures and whatever they create from said pre-placed units or structures are destroyed and wiped out. This does not include units spawned from scripted attack waves, map events such as the infested on Dead of Night, indestructible structures like the conduits on Void Launch, or special units or structures generated by mutators such as Purifier Beam or Laser Drill. Creep Tumors, Overseers, Overlords, Observers, and Stasis Wards are exempt.

In addition, all main objectives and bonus objectives must be completed with no misses to the main objectives are permitted such as no shuttles missed on Void Launch, no bots destroyed on Mist Opportunities, or no damage the Temple on Temple of the Past.

Kimmo's Notes: Well, I kept my promise to myself. I would finish this in a live setting with no forgetting to hit record.

I vowed to myself that this will be the run to end my Temple grind. That isn't to say I won't play Temple of the Past ever again as Artanis. But I'm at least done with this map for a very long while.

It's a bittersweet ending, overall. I had a lot of emotional highs discovering a lot of tech made possible because of P1. But I also had emotional lows from a lot of times narrowly missing out on lowering my own personal best (16:10) to a lower time because of how I always missed a unit or a building. All those near misses caused my interest in speedrunning this map to greatly dwindle along with my interest in the map as a whole.

This was the only thing I had left to do for myself so that I could move on to other goals for this game.

Perhaps I'll return to this map to finish the speedrunning job one day.

But as the old adage goes: Only time will tell.
