Olympus 35 RD example of properly working aperture?

Описание к видео Olympus 35 RD example of properly working aperture?

Many proud new owners of an Olympus 35 RD find aperture problems. Most of the time the issue is because the aperture blades stick causing the aperture to not open or close properly.

The 35 RD was designed with a different aperture mechanism, one which includes 6 blades on the five blade aperture system.

The 1st and 6th blades are used separately when the aperture opens and closes. This causes a properly working aperture to operate differently than expected.

Now, I must say that these are my own thoughts, and that I am not currently a camera repair technician (although I have an interest in restoring these beautiful old cameras).

SO PLEASE add to this conversation in the comments below if you have any useful experience.

Cheers!
