INGREDIENTS : full measurement
(FOR DOUGH)
Maida (all purpose flour) - 2 cups
Pinch of salt
Ghee (clarified butter) - 1/4 cup
Baking powder - 1 tsp
water - 1/2 cup

(FOR SUGAR SYRUP)
sugar - 2 cups
Water - 1 cup
Saffron (kesar) - few (optional)

(FOR FRYING)
Ghee (clarified butter) for deep fry

INGREDIENTS : half measurement
Maida - 1 cup
Baking powder - 1/2 tsp
Ghee - 2-3 tbsp
Pinch of salt

water - 1/4
Sugar - 1 cup
Water - 1/2 cup
Kesar - few
Ghee to deep fry
