Francis Lee Rogers (at the video's end) maintains the bird feeders in Central Park during fall migration and throughout winter into spring. Care is crucial during the winter months when heavy snowfall and temperatures below freezing make finding food difficult if not impossible. Donations help Lee continue her efforts to fill the feeders with the nourishment needed to help the birds survive.
