Game took place 50 years after the event with Simon Belmont when Maxim, Justin's friend returned from his long training expedition. He informed Juste that Lydie; their friend has been kidnapped. And he believed that she might be held captived inside a mysterious castle that never there before.

Yet they still enter the castle with the premise of rescuing Lydie? I mean, how they'd be so sure? But, what the heck. No entering no game, so let's a go!!
