AMAZING DAY | Forward Tiger military exercise in Puerto Rico with A-10 and C-130s 25-FEB-2023

Forward Tiger validates the capabilities of the various participating commands through scenarios typical of the Caribbean area and helps in the improvement of the interoperation capabilities of the participating air forces.

Brigadier General Humberto Pabón, chief of staff of the Puerto Rico Air National Guard, added that "the people should not be alarmed by these types of maneuvers, as it is part of our responsibility to maintain the interoperability of our Air National Guard personnel with the active component personnel and the readiness of the force for the protection of the Nation. Through these exercises, we see the great contribution that, because of its strategic position, Puerto Rico makes not only to regional and national defense but also in its support during emergency situations".

During the maneuvers in Aguadilla, C-130J Super Hercules and A-10 Thunderbolt II aircraft will transport military personnel and refuel, respectively.

More than 300 U.S. Air Force personnel are participating in Forward Tiger from Puerto Rico, contributing approximately $2.8 million to the island's economy.
