If your dishwasher is suddenly not draining water, and you just replaced your sink disposal,  you may have forgotten to remove the drain plug. It’s easy to forget.  I have seen multiple, very experienced handymen, forget to do this. The first time it happened, I thought my dishwasher broke, threw it away, & bought a brand new dishwasher.  and it’s still late. That’s when I realized it was not draining. I was quite upset because that dishwasher was one of those old ones from the 70s that will never ever die. So I felt badly that I had gotten rid of it because it probably would’ve lasted another 20 years. I can still see the trash truck, lifting it up with the robotic claw & dropping it into the bin.

Anyway, so when I had this problem a second time, I knew immediately why it happened. And I took a video this time to show other people how to fix it, so they don’t make the same mistake I did, of getting rid of the dishwasher when it’s just a small plug that needs to be punched out.
