How to convert a gen 4 LS to gen 3 1X cam sensor (05-06 GTO timing set) #9

In order to put a gen 4 LS engine into a gen 3 vehicle (or if you have a gen 3 harness) you need to make a few changes. first, you need to move the cam sensor location to the front of the block, and in doing that you need to use a 1X cam gear (part number in video) and use the gen 4 (4X) cam sensor. to use the gen 4 sensor with the gen 3 wiring, you need to reverse the outer pins on the connector, or, if you use the short pigtail harness on the gen 4 timing cover, you just need to extend your harness and plug it right in.
