The ultimate Ford Escort Mk1 RS. This conversion has the more powerful 2.1 Pinto engine with high lift cams, single prop, front disc brakes, single leaf rear suspension and a type 9, 5 speed gearbox. This car develops around 115 BHP and is painted in the wonderful 70s Tawny Brown metallic paint. Wide arches and a glorious exhaust note a true British motoring icon. After taking the car out for a test drive, Tim takes this wonderful classic back to the original factory in Halewood Liverpool where the car came off the production line in 1974.
