Def Leppard - White Lightning (Solo Cover w/ PC Archtop and Rockman)

Again, this dream of a guitar has been lent to me by a good friend, along with a Rockman X100. According to Phil, he used his PC Archtop on at least parts of the solo and I heard from Pete Woodroffe that a lot of Adrenalize was still Rockman, so maybe this is the set up on how White Lightning was recorded. This gorgeous PC Archtop is quite unique, a custom shop from 1990, but a string through model, not with a Floyd or Khaler. I think it's my favourite shape of a guitar and I cannot believe I have had the good fortune to play one. It's quite tough I must say, possibly higher gauge strings than I'm used to. Maybe a few more videos to come with this guitar and possibly a deep dive with it and the Les Paul XR-1. Thanks for watching and letting me indulge in my love for this stuff! :)

Geeky stuff: I used the headphone output of the Rockman going into the interface and it sounded good. The low-level output is a little dodgy on the unit so I wasn't able to try using that going into my Palmer Speaker Sim, which may have been how the band used to record with it.
