Through Areuse Gorge - Autumn 2020 - The Nature of Switzerland

The Areuse stream roars through the gorge. This sometimes bold trail affords incredible views deep into this spectacle of nature. Even on hot summer days, a cool breeze blows.
An incredible 11.5 km hike between Boudry to Noiraigues will take your breath away, especially during autumn. There are countless photo opportunities and you can see some of the examples in my website.

I have been visiting this place time to time for last 10 years and I did a video of this before as well in 2018. This one is more of an extended and better version of my initial attempt.

This place is so amazing, that going there several times is not a regret at all. I have visited the Areuse Gorge in summer and in autumn. I prefer the beauty of autumn. Ok, I am a bit biased about those lovely autumn color. So off course I will always choose the cold and wet autumn above the warm and sunny summer or spring. But the spectacular color of the forest brings a distinct emotion.
