Symptoms of Pneumonia in Rabbits:

Lethargy and Malaise: Rabbits may become less active, spend more time sleeping, and appear generally unwell. 

Anorexia and Weight Loss: Loss of appetite and subsequent weight loss are common signs. 

Fever: Elevated body temperature can indicate an infection. 

Difficulty Breathing: This can manifest as increased breathing rate (tachypnea), labored breathing (dyspnea), or even open-mouth breathing (which is a medical emergency in rabbits). 

Nasal and Eye Discharge: A runny nose and/or watery or pus-like discharge from the eyes can be a sign of respiratory infection. 

Sneezing and Coughing: These are common respiratory symptoms. 

Pale or Congested Mucous Membranes: The color of the gums and inner eyelids can indicate the severity of the condition. 

Exercise Intolerance: Rabbits may tire easily and have difficulty engaging in normal activities. 

Facial Abscesses: In some cases, abscesses can develop around the face. 

Stained Fur: Rabbits may have fur stained on their front legs from cleaning their eyes and nose.
