বিএনপির তিন দিনের অবরোধ কর্মসূচির প্রভাব পড়েছে খাগড়াছড়ির পর্যটন খাতে। দূরপাল্লার যান চলাচল বন্ধ থাকায় পর্যটকশূন্য হয়ে পরেছে জেলার পর্যটন কেন্দ্রগুলো। অনেকে হোটেল-মোটেল বুকিং দিয়েও তা করেছেন বাতিল। এতে আর্থিক ক্ষতির মুখে পড়েছেন ব্যবসায়ী ও পরিবহন শ্রমিকরা।
