Simple Candle Formula for Beginners

Описание к видео Simple Candle Formula for Beginners

Join me as we unravel the secrets of candle making. I'm here to share practical tips, formulas, and ideas that actually work, making candle making a breeze.

If you've ever felt frustrated trying to figure out the right combination of waxes and wicks for your candles, look no further – this video is your solution! I've tested various formulas and stumbled upon one that helped me earn over $250,000 in just a year. When I started my candle business, I aimed to master the craft and understand the science behind it. Armed with this knowledge, I consistently create successful candle formulas.

Disclaimer: The formula I originally used involved blending coconut and soy wax. However, due to significant price increases since 2019, this method became cost-inefficient. The formula I share in this video is my current go-to, offering the same amazing results.

This formula will fill 8-9 straight-sided tumblers from Candle Science. The amount will vary based on the amount of fragrance oil you use.

74 oz- 454 Wax
8-10 oz Fragrance Oil
This recipe will make about eight, 8.5-9oz candles

The amount of fragrance oil you use will vary based on the type of fragrance. For a quality hot throw, I recommend 9-10 oz for most fragrances. The scent throw you will get from this formula is pleasant-strong (If that's a word). :)

The wick size can vary based on the fragrance you use, but an Eco 10 or 12 usually work best.

ALWAYS test your candles, before selling or giving away!

BONUS: You can find most of these items in a candle making kit from major suppliers. These kits provide a working candle formula, saving you from reinventing the wheel. Check out Cierra Candle's Candle Making kit, which uses Soy wax and HTP Wicks for a different recipe.
