What to do against the early Qb3/Qb6 · Training Game

Описание к видео What to do against the early Qb3/Qb6 · Training Game

Attacking the b pawn with the queen is a very common pattern in openings where the bishop leaves c1 or c8 early, such as the London System, the Caro-Kann, or the Semi-Slav or Slav defense. In most cases, the correct response is a mirrored queen move, defending the pawn and offering a queen trade which opens up your a rook and gives you undermining possibilities on the b-file. That's what happened in this game, and I managed to exploit the advantage almost precisely.
