The Ashlyn Spring/Summer 2024 Collection drew inspiration from puzzle pieces and the art and craft of pattern making. The mix of traditional, organic, and artful inspiratons for the hair were brought to life by Session Stylist, Joey George, who incorporated the collection’s patterns, geometric shapes, and textured fabrics to achieve the looks.

Get the Look:

Look One:
• Prep the hair with Foundation Mist to build in shine and detangle while providing anti-static thermal protection.
• Next, layer the hair with Invisible Defense Universal Protection Spray and Très Set Structure Spray for added protection and grip for styling.
• Part hair in a zig-zagged pattern.
• Blow dry with a flat brush.
• Once the hair is dry, use Swept Up Volume Powder Spray on the roots and flat tease sections to sculpt the hair back and away from the face.
• To secure hair edges around the face, apply Rough Luxury Molding Wax.
• Set the final look with Superfine Strong Hair Spray for all day hold.

Look Two:
• Prep the hair with Foundation Mist to build in shine and detangle while providing anti-static thermal protection.
• Next, layer the hair with Invisible Defense Universal Protection Spray and Très Set Structure Spray for added protection and grip for styling.
• Part hair in a zig-zagged pattern.
• Blow dry with a flat brush.
• Once the hair is dry, use Dry Texturizing Spray from the roots to ends while teasing the hair to create a ‘cotton candy’ texture.
• Brush the hair and shape it back and away from the face. (Some talent had their hair wrapped into a traditional French fold)
• To finalize the look, spray a generous amount of Maximista Thickening Spray on top of the hair and wrap the hair using shoelaces, creating unique folds and ripples.
• Diffuse the hair completely dry and finish with Aprés Wave & Shine Spray for high shine.
