【Profile】LITE (ライト)
2003年結成、4人組インストロックバンド。今までに5枚のフルアルバムをリリース。独自のプログレッシブで鋭角的なリフやリズムからなる、エモーショナルでスリリングな楽曲は瞬く間に話題となり、アメリカのインディレーベル”Topshelf Records”と契約し、アメリカ、ヨーロッパ、アジアなどでもツアーを成功させるなど国内外で注目を集めている。 国内の大型音楽フェス”FUJI ROCK FESTIVAL”や”SUMMER SONIC”をはじめ、海外音楽フェスのSXSWへの出演や、UKのArcTanGent Festival、スペインのAM Fest、メキシコのForever Alone Festではヘッドライナーでの出演を果たすなど、近年盛り上がりを見せているインストロック・シーンの中でも、最も注目すべき存在のひとつとなっている。2019年6月5日には6thアルバム「Multiple」をリリースした。また2021年3月26日公開の大泉洋主演映画「騙し絵の牙」では全編の音楽を担当している。

【Profile】LITE
LITE is a Japanese instrumental rock band known for thrilling and emotional compositions, progressive, edgy riffs, and complex rhythms. Widely regarded for their explosive live show and tireless touring in the US, Europe, and Asia, LITE are one of the most exciting bands to emerge from Japan in the last twenty years.
Over the past 18 years, the Japanese quartet has established itself as one of the most influential groups across a host of subgenres. Though usually referred to by touchstones such as “math-rock” or “post-rock,” LITE has developed an uncanny ability to fuse their influences into their own unmistakable dialect that defies generic genre classification.
LITE boasts a tremendous back catalog of six full-length albums and six EPs. Their latest full length record, Multiple, was released on Topshelf Records digitally and physically in 2019. LITE also wrote the music for the movie "Kiba: The Fangs of Fiction" starring Yo Oizumi, which was released on March 26, 2021.
