No Body Claim Until CM Fulfills Commitments - JAC

Ningthoujam Popilal, the Convenor of the Joint Action Committee (JAC) formed in response to the brutal killing of Ngangbam (O) Surbala by Kuki militants at Koutruk, announced that the JAC would not claim Surbala's body until Chief Minister N. Biren Singh fulfills their demands. During a meeting with the Chief Minister, Popilal and other JAC members presented a list of urgent concerns, primarily focusing on the safety and security of residents in Manipur, particularly those in peripheral areas. Surbala was killed in the attack, which also left her daughter injured. The JAC is pressing for swift action to prevent further violence and protect the state's vulnerable communities.
