Over the weekend from the 2nd to the 4th of February 2024, the Joondalup Line had a rather abnormal closure between Stirling and Perth for some random track maintenance and repairs occurring between Glendalough and Leederville. This resulted in trains having to terminate and turnback at both Stirling and Perth Underground train stations, as well as a new train replacement bus route number 924 operating express from Perth Busport to Stirling along the freeway (on top of the 904 operating all stops of course). I headed out to check out and record these weird operations with several other enthusiasts including ‪@Pigeon_journey‬ , ‪@rileythedude‬ , ‪@perthtransport1‬ , ‪@Tpenthusiast729‬ , ‪@MetroManDownUnder‬ and more. We met some very nice but also very mean staff members along the way...
