Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon Gen 11 Review: Best Office Laptop

Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon Gen 11 is the best laptop for the office. It’s super portable, has plenty of ports, good battery life, and is very durable. This X1 Carbon Gen 11 comes with Windows 11 Pro and I’ve been very happy with it with office use.

I work in marketing and I use Outlook for emails, Word and Google Docs for documents, Google Slides for presentations, and several Video conferencing apps depending on the client or the team. That includes using Teams, Meets, and Zoom. We also manage projects through Basecamp, although some of us are starting to use Slack on some projects. The X1 Carbon has absolutely no issues running all these apps, multitasking, and switching between these apps. And this is even with just 16GB of RAM. It is a 14-inch display which is great for carrying in the bag going to and from the office. It’s so freaking light too. When I’m working from home, this Thinkpad X1 Carbon Gen 11 is connected to a 32-inch UHD display Lenovo ThinkVision P32P-30. It powers up the X1 Carbon and outputs the display, and provides Ethernet connection with just one USB-C connection going into the laptop. Not only is the performance there, but the battery is also better this year. Opening and switching between apps is fast. You don’t have to worry about carrying dongles because of the included ports. Turning on this laptop with Windows Hello is also superfast. It’s hard to think of a better office laptop than this. It is a little pricier than other, but again it is a ThinkPad so it’s very durable.
