Joel Mchale confirms Donald Glover will return for the forthcoming Commmunity movie.
Glover was not listed as part of the cast when Peacock officially announced the Community movie and has not yet been officailly confirmed.
However Dan Harmon, the shows creator, had hinted previously that the movie couldn't happen without Glover's character Troy Barnes being a part of it.
The current writers strike has all production of the movie on hold at this time but Joel Mchale states filming is expected to begin in 2024.
All of the main cast will be returning, including Yvette Nicole Brown who was only a recurring cast member during the final season.
But Chevy Chase is not expected to appear in part due to the off-screen drama during the shows run and becuase of the way Chase's character Pierce Hawthorne exited the show.
Either way it's very exciting for Community fans to continue to see progress with the movie and to hear Donald Glover is back.
