Several old claims north of Hwy 124. These mine sites were explored mostly for Copper, and Magnetite. Many of these locations have not been worked in about 100 years. The sites are very overgrown, but some interesting minerals are found here. Minerals we found here include: Pentlandite, Hornblende, Tourmaline, Graphite, Black Andradite Garnet, Almandine Garnet, Albite Feldspar, Peridotite, Sphalerite, and Iron Ore.
