TITLIS Rotair – the world's first revolving cable car! | Engelberg Switzerland

TITLIS Rotair, the revolving cable car that rotates its way up towards the snow covered summit of mount Titlis.

Riding the cableways connection from the swiss alpine village of Engelberg to the Mount Titlis is surely one of the most breathtaking and mind-blowing Experience you can have in the alps! Mount Titlis is located at around 3'000 meters (10'000 ft) above sea level. The TITLIS cable cars take you from Engelberg up to 3,020 m.a.s.l. in about 30 minutes. The highlight is without question the ride with the TITLIS Rotair, that is the first revolving cable car in the world! Now in its second generation!

We ride the Mount TITLIS Express (TITLIS Xpress, scenic gondola ride) to the middle station of Trübsee, then to the station of Stand and finally, we took the revolving cable car (TITLIS Rotair) to the summit of the "small" Titlis (Klein Titlis).

At the summit station, at an altitude of around 3020 meters, you have a fantastic 360° panoramic view of majestic Alpine peaks and the surrounding glaciers. Snow fun all year round offers numerous attractions such as the Titlis cliff walk that is the highest suspension bridge in Europe.
