After starting the Pan-American highway heading from Canada to Argentina, Baja California would prove to be the first real test for truck and driver. Sand, salt and rough off-road backcountry trails would be rewarded with spectacular views and overlanding opportunities. Mountains, Volcanoes, crystal clear waters with deep black skies unaffected by light pollution. Dolphins, stingrays, eels, reef fish...

What initially seems like a small peninsula at first glance on a map is actually a massive and diverse collection of landscapes. This is a fraction of a glimpse into what 1 month of travelling through this impressive country looks like. Currently I am travelling down mainland Mexico's Pacific coast. A drive with is somehow even more impressive. But that will be for next time.
